Quinua Real with chickpeas and leeks

  1. In a double-bottomed cooking pot, saute the leeks with a few drops of olive oil and a pinch of sea salt for 5-7 minutes, without covering.
  2. Wash the Quinua Real several times with cold water, then add the leeks, corn, a pinch of cumin and two cups of water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, till dry.
  3. Add the cooked chickpeas, stir carefully and serve.
  4. The dish can be eaten hot or cold.


  • 1 cup of organic Quinua Real grain
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas
  • 2 leeks (cut lengthwise washed and finely chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons of corn
  • Olive oil
  • Soy sauce
  • Cumin
