Quinoa chocolate donuts

Dry ingredients

180 g Organic quinoa real flour

3 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt


Wet ingredients

250 ml Organic quinoa real & rice drink

4 tbsp melted coconut oil or olive oil

100 g rice syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp apple cider vinegar



80 g dark chocolate

1 tsp melted coconut oil

2 tbsp chopped pistachios

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and lightly grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Organic quinoa real flour, cocoa poder, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon and salt.
  3. Next add quinoa real & rice drink, melted coconut oil, rice syrup, vanilla extract, apple cider and whisk to combine.
  4. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each all the way to the top. Bake for 13-14 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Once cooled, flip the donuts out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
  5. In the meantime, make glaze (optional). To a small mixing bowl, add coconut oil and dark chocolate. Put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds at a time until melted.
  6. Dip each donut in chocolate glaze. Then top with chopped pistachios. Enjoy!
